Introducing Fiber range of BOLTs, NUTs, STUDs & RODs manufactured using a complex resin transfer technology from Composite Bolts & Nuts. All products are available in standard Vinyl Ester & Epoxy resin systems, Polyurethane and other resins along with a wide selection of reinforcement are available on request. All products offer a high shear, tensile strength, fire retardancy and self-extinguishing. Some products have a UV inhibitor which provides resistance to ultraviolet degradation and increases corrosion protection. These features make Fiber products an excellent choice for all structural, mechanical and electrical applications where fasteners must be corrosion resistant, non-conductive, fire retardant and self-extinguishing are critical.
Fiber BOLT & STUD
Perfect for all applications requiring a mechanical & chemical fixing that must be strong, non-corrosive and low maintenance. Manufactured from 100% GFRP which offers a very high level of strength & fire retardancy compared with other thermoplastics bolt and nuts. Products are available in a hex head flange bolt or stud bolts consisting of two GFRP flange hex nuts and vinyl ester or epoxy threaded rod.
Available in GFRP hex head flange nuts or conventional square nuts. The GFRP nuts are manufactured with high strength Vinyl Ester or epoxy resin and glass matrix, available in Metric & UNC threads. The GFRP square nuts and flanged hex nuts can be installed with standard mechanical hand tools to almost any application where corrosion, strength and fire retardancy are important.
Fiber ROD machined from high quality Vinyl Ester and Epoxy pultruded ﬁberglass rod are a perfect partner for our Fiber NUT which are 100% fiberglass and they can be installed and assembled in minutes with hand tools and standard socket wrench or spanner.
